On May 5th, something amazing happens. Fresh off the high of seeing The Avengers, thousands of people across this great planet will roll out of bed, gather their loved ones and fellow nerdlings and head to their favorite comic shop. Some locations will have costumed super heroes to greet them. Some will have bona fide comic industry professionals present to sketch, sign their work and tell tales of greatness. Above all else, ALL will have free comic books for the taking.

On this day there should be peace across the land, beautiful music in the air and secret service men not trying to haggle over hooker prices. Why? Because there will be a comic book in the hand of every man woman and child. Comic Books Save Lives. Here is your shopping list...
